Blend a Rainbow NutraSmoothie filled with fruits and vegetables the colors of the rainbow!

RED: Fruits and vegetables that are red are typically rich in lycopene, an antioxidant that is known for its cancer-fighting properties. Lycopene is found in foods like tomatoes, watermelon and red bell peppers. Red fruits and vegetables are also a good source of vitamin C, which is important for maintaining a healthy immune system.

ORANGE AND YELLOW: Orange and yellow fruits and vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes and oranges are rich in beta-carotene, a type of antioxidant that is converted into vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A is important for maintaining healthy eyesight, skin and immune function. These foods are also a good source of vitamin C, which is important for maintaining a healthy immune system.

GREEN: Leafy green vegetables like spinach, kale and broccoli are rich in a variety of
antioxidants such as lutein, zeaxanthin and beta-carotene. These antioxidants are important for maintaining healthy eyesight and protecting against age-related macular degeneration.

BLUE AND PURPLE: Blue and purple fruits and vegetables like blueberries, blackberries and eggplant are rich in antioxidants called anthocyanins. These antioxidants are important for maintaining healthy brain function and protecting against age-related cognitive decline. Blue and purple foods are also a good source of vitamin C, which is important for maintaining a healthy immune system.
