L’Amy America Launches Retainer Ophthalmics by Champion®

“The new Retainer system is purpose-built to withstand the rigors of an active lifestyle. Made of durable Tr90 the retaining straps which are built-in to the temples extend and retract to create a neck cord permanently affixed to the frame. This feature solves the consumer challenge of having to find a safe place to store frames,” said Connie Riess, L’amy Brand Director.

“It can also be quickly and easily self-adjusted allowing the frame to fit more snuggly against the head to stay-put during movement,” said Reiss.

The Fall ‘25 Retainer Ophthalmic intro is an extension of Champion’s highly successful men’s and women’s Retainer RX Sunglass collection. The new men’s ophthalmic duo features one acetate and one stainless steel design. Both models are fully adjustable and provide ample “Bdepth” for progressive scripts.

The Retainer Ophthalmic models are supported by a complete range of visual display options, an image library and are backed by L’amy America’s 3-year extended warranty.
