OneSight Provided Access to Vision Care to More Than 25,000

OneSight, a global vision care nonprofit, provided access to eye exams and glasses to more than 25,000 people around the world. The organization expanded vision care access in:

  • Cape Town, South Africa
  • Brooklyn, New York
  • Yunnan, China
  • Kansas City, Missouri
  • The Tohono O’odham Native American Reservation in Arizona
  • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Among numerous other regions

As part of OneSight’s World Sight Day efforts in September and October, coupled with its other scheduled programming, individuals received vision care through:

  • Charitable vision clinics
  • Permanent vision centers
  • Vision care vouchers

OneSight was able to provide this care due to the continued support of its key partners, including primary sponsor EssilorLuxottica. Other partners include Essilor Vision Foundation, Fidelity Security Life Insurance Company, Aetna – a CVS Health company, China Charities Aid Foundation for Children and Education In Sight, among other dedicated supporters. The life-changing gift of clear sight can help students learn up to twice as much in school and can increase a worker’s productivity by 35 percent, enabling them to earn 20 percent more.
