CooperVision is the largest all-time donor and a Global Gold Sponsor of the organization, supporting its mission to eradicate preventable blindness.

OGS helps expand access to eye care in underserved communities around the world by funding initiatives to establish optometry schools and vision clinics; train eye care practitioners; and provide eye exams and eyeglasses.

In 2024, the company’s sites raised nearly $290,000 through a series of regional and global initiatives. Teams from CooperVision have also supported the organization through participation in OGS-funded mission trips to provide eye exams and glasses for more than 4,000 children in underserved communities. This includes visits to schools in Mexico and two clinics in Jamaica, one of which took place just last month.

CooperVision’s mission is to help improve the way people see each day, and our employees around the globe understand the profound ways in which vision can change lives,” says Dan McBride, Chief Operating Officer, CooperCompanies, and OGS board member. “It is incredible to see their generosity, year after year, to extending the gift of sight to so many more individuals, families, and communities through OGS.”
