The 10th annual Theia Awards of Excellence ceremony was held Tuesday, Oct. 7, in conjunction with the American Academy of Optometry in Boston. In celebration of a decade of the awards, a special recognition was announced: the Lifetime of Leadership award.

Andrea Thau, OD, FAAO, FOVDR, FNAP, received this award for her outstanding contributions to the profession. While she couldn’t make it to the ceremony in Boston, she shared a warm message of gratitude and celebration. See her message below.
