Now Open: Optical Advancement Grant Application

the transitions optical advancement grant imageTransitions, in partnership with its Optical Advancement Board, is now accepting applications for the Optical Advancement Grant educational grant program, designed to support and empower the next generation of opticians and optometrists.

Five $1,000 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors or recent grads planning to attend opticianry school in the U.S. Plus, two $5,000 grants are available for current first- through third-year optometry students at an accredited U.S. school or college.

Grant recipients will also have the chance to become a Transitions Change Agent—a part of an exclusive Peer-to-Peer program—and could gain an invitation* to Transitions Academy in Orlando, Florida.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:59 EST. Apply here.

Winners will be notified the week of May 19, 2025.
