Majority of Women Report Revenue Increases
Overall, a majority ODs and employees in the optometric profession reported that 2016 was a better year in terms of revenue than 2016, with 65 percent saying revenue increased. When women ODs’ responses were analyzed separately, the majority was not as large (56 percent reported an increase), and nearly 1/3 of the women OD respondents said their numbers for the year were down.
