Nine outstanding female ODs received a Theia Award of Excellence on Tuesday, Oct. 7, following the Women In Optometry Women’s Leadership Conference at the American Academy of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.
This special 10th anniversary of the Theia Awards of Excellence ceremony called for a special recognition: the Lifetime of Leadership award. Andrea P. Thau, OD, FAAO, FOVDR, FNAP, received this award in recognition of her contributions to the profession.
