Dr. Amorette HannaAmorette Hanna, OD, loves that optometry allows her to help others. Splitting her time between two small group practices in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, Dr. Hanna focuses on primary care with an emphasis on pediatrics and myopia management.

Dr. Hanna started a blog in 2014 as a creative outlet and a patient education resource. She decorates cupcakes into various eye conditions and uses them as a visual to educate the public in a fun and easy-to-understand way. Over the past seven years, Dr. Hannah has expanded her network among her fellow eye care professionals on social media, and she has since started making Christmas ornaments “to share my nerdy love for all things eyes and glasses with my fellow eyewear enthusiasts!”
