Kara Foster, OD, of Apex, North Carolina, wants to share her message of empowerment and girl-power cool in her book of poems and fun stickers. Her collection of stickers in her Etsy shop Empower and Envision is designed to inspire confidence, celebrate strength and spread positivity for women and girls everywhere. The drawings are simple and fun, and everyone is wearing eyeglasses.
She has also self-published a book, A Girl With a Vision – A poem of strength and dreams, which features young girl with a bold heart and fierce spirit and a clear vision for her future. She aspires to help others see the world more clearly as an eye doctor. Despite doubts from others and the challenges she faces, she remains steadfast, believing in her own strength and potential.
Dr. Foster says that the gir’s journey is a powerful reminder that no mountain is too high and no goal is too grand for someone who believes in themselves.
