Jennifer Jabaley, OD, has been a voracious reader all her life. When her first son was born, she turned to writing to stave off some of the restlessness she felt during her six-month leave. That impulse led to two young-adult novels—Lipstick Apology and Crush Control.
More recently, she returned to writing, but her interests had shifted away from young adult fiction. In August 2025, she debuted her first book for adults—a domestic suspense: What’s Yours Is Mine. It unfolds through the points of view of two mothers and a teenage daughter whose best‐friend relationship unravels after one girl is attacked just days before an international dance competition. In the aftermath, one mother accuses the other of complicity.
