On January 1, 2024, Karla Zadnik, OD, PhD, will become interim executive vice president and provost of The Ohio State University, serving as the institution’s chief academic officer while a search is underway for a permanent leader. She will continue serving as interim dean of the College of Public Health, a role she took on in July.
