| Bina J. Patel, OD, FAAO, faculty at New England College of Optometry, is this year’s recipient of the AO-Essilor Award for Outstanding International Contributions to Optometry. |  |
| Monica Jong, PhD, BOptom, has been appointed to Global Professional Education Lead, Myopia at Johnson & Johnson Vision. |  |
| Melissa Barnett, OD, FAAO, FSLS, FBCLA, presented the Thomas H. Peters Memorial Lecture at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry. |  |
| Lindsey Hardy, OD, FAAO, was promoted to chief of optometry at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Louisville, Kentucky |  |
| Hannah Cho, OD, received the Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Southern California College of Optometry. |  |
