When Monica Ma, OD, and her husband Jonathan Reynon, ODopened Parkside Eye Care in October 2016, Dr. Reynon kept his existing subleases as they built up their patient base. The cold-start practice, located in the western part of Cary, North Carolina, boomed quickly right among a number of new communities that were under construction. Read more. Kimberly Wampler, OD, and her husband Jeff Wineinger, OD, celebrated a decade of practice ownership in November 2017. They bought the practice 10 years ago after its former owner sold one of his three office locations to them. Not too long after they bought it, they began thinking about a move. The schedule at C Klear Vision Optique in Little Rock, Arkansas, maxes out at 10 comprehensive exams per day. Those 45-minute time slots allow Celina Watson, OD, to dedicate her full focus to each patient in the exam room. “I want to get down to the nitty gritty and know my patients just like my childhood optometrist knew me.” Her husband Kristopher Watson, COA, serves as office manager in the practice, which now has recently celebrated its second anniversary. In June 2019, Kristi Kessler Williams, OD, and her husband and business partner, Jim Williams, held a grand opening celebration for the relocation of Eye to Eye Optometry, in Mexico, Missouri. The high school sweethearts opened the practice in 2000, in this town where they grew up. Read more.

Kimberly Phillips-Stewart, OD, had all of the details picked out for her future practice before she and husband Chris Stewart, OD, even found a space for it.
