Scott Filion, Former President & COO of Rev360, Assumes the Top Leadership Role in 2019

Scott Filion has been promoted to CEO of Rev360, the company that delivers RevolutionEHR and a suite of eyecare practice advancement solutions to eye care professionals (ECPs) across the country. Formerly the President and COO of Rev360, Filion will now oversee its three business units: RevolutionEHR, the leading cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software platform for eye care; the Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA), the nation’s premiere doctor alliance group; and Visionary Partners, an innovative partnership between Rev360 and ECP’s to sustain and grow independent eye care practices. Rev360’s founder and former CEO, Scott Jens, will assume a senior advisor position to the Rev360 Board of Directors.

Filion brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and healthcare technology to his new role. His diverse background includes leadership positions at GE Healthcare Information Technologies where he focused on medical technologies, digital infrastructure and data analytics, and GetWellNetwork, a company with a mission of improving patient outcomes through patient and family engagement. He’s also worked for EMC Healthcare, where he grew the business from $40M to $1.4B over a ten-year span, taking it to a number-one market position in digital health. Filion has also served large health system and ministries, providers, payers and practices around the world.

“We are thrilled to have a seasoned health care technology executive like Scott Filion join our team,” said Gunnar Bjorklund, chairman of Rev360. “His leadership experience and operational acumen are invaluable as we push into our next stage of growth and deliver on our commitment to drive profitability and joy for our customers.”

Filion, 49, is married with three children. The whole family enjoys the outdoor opportunities and active lifestyle of their hometown, Boulder, CO. Filion and his wife are involved in competitive sports, including local, national and international endurance.

Filion pledges to bring a collaborative style of leadership to his work at Rev360. “For me, the most important skill of any leader is listening,” he explained. Filion is taking that philosophy into the practices of the ECPs that use RevolutionEHR. “I don’t think you can ever see your customers enough, you can never get enough feedback,” he said. Filion plans to travel throughout the country to meet with ECPs and customers on their turf, with the goal of gathering information and insight about RevolutionEHR and its practice solutions. “Our customers will tell us what they need and what they want, and we’ll innovate around that,” he promised.
