Congratulations to Thuy Tran, OD, of Portland, Oregon, who recently won the Democratic primary to represent House District 45 in Northeast Portland. Dr. Tran is the owner of Rose City Vision Care, with two locations in town. She will run unopposed in November.
On her campaign page, she thanked her supporters and emphasized her future goals: “Next year’s legislature will face big responsibilities, working to address homelessness, the rising price of housing and health care, climate change, and providing safety for all members of our community.
