Halloween Still an Office Hit in 2023

With Halloween quickly approaching, WO asked in a recent poll if readers’ offices get involved in any way. From putting up decorations to making a full day of costumes and celebrations, the majority of respondents reported looking forward to the festivities every year.

Most respondents (84%) said they get involved in the holiday at the office. Respondents were split down the middle (42% each) of either “moderately in with decorations and costumes optional” or going “all in with decorations and costumes.”

Out of all respondents, no one reported ODs being excluded from dressing up. In fact, one-third of respondents said they choose an office theme for everyone to get involved in. Almost three-quarters of respondents (67%) reported “loving the holiday and spirit– it’s a fun, team-oriented day.” Another quarter of respondents said it’s not only a fun day, but great for patients by getting them involved in the fun.

Half of respondents were female ODs and a quarter were male ODs. Another 17 percent of respondents were non-OD females and eight percent were non-OD males.
